PostHeaderIcon 1st Battalion The Royal Welsh March Through Chester

Following their return from a five month tour of duty in Afghanistan. The 1st battalion of the Royal Welsh, based at The Dale barracks in Upton,  marched through the streets of a packed Chester city centre on Saturday 5th June 2010. In a ceremony at Chester Castle, prior to the march, the regiment was awarded the freedom of the borough.
